About Maple Palette
Built by painters for people who love the craft.
Maple Palette exists to give miniature painting a stronger stage in Canada: art-forward, community-first, and practical enough for people entering their first competition.
Mission
Make the hobby feel bigger, better, and more connected.
Maple Palette is a yearly miniature painting event celebrating the hobby and the talented people in it. The event is built to welcome beginner and veteran hobbyists alike: paint, learn, inspire, socialize, and push the craft forward together.
Our goal is to give painters a place to show work they are proud of, learn from one another, try something new, and spend a day surrounded by people who care about the craft.
Art first
Miniatures are treated as finished artwork, not just gaming pieces.
Community always
The competition matters, but the people in the room matter more.
Learning built in
Workshops, demos, conversations, and experiments are core to the event.
Team
The people making it happen.
Maple Palette is organized by a small team of painters and hobbyists who handle the competition, partnerships, programming, and community side of the event.
